Three Spire City Stories is a project about the city of Coventry's community through the perspectives of its inhabitants. It explores personal tales of those from different age groups, ethnicities and race with the singular notion binding them together of all having lived within the city's boundaries. It is encapsulated across mixed medias, examining the impact a place has on its community that calls it home. The projects allows us to have a deeper connection to the people who are everyday faces walking past on the streets and delves into their story, which some weren't consciously aware of prior to this artwork. Discover the people of Coventry through digital image capturing, graphic design and the traditional use of pen and paper. Portraits of each participant go hand in hand with handwritten diary entry styled notes allowing the individuals to be represented in a way that is satisfactory, contextualised with research to enhance a greater understanding from an outsider's view.
